The Relationship Between Nutritional Status and Workload with Work Fatigue Among Employees in the Processing and Technical Division of the Palm Oil Mill at PT. MPA (Mandiri Palmera Agrindo), East Luwu, 2025.

Work fatigue is a condition of physical and mental decline caused by excessive workload and suboptimal nutritional status, which can affect work productivity. This study aims to determine the relationship between nutritional status and workload with work fatigue among process and technical employees at the Palm Oil Factory of PT. MPA (Mandiri Palmera Agrindo), East Luwu, in 2025. his study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 38 respondents selected using total sampling technique. Data were collected through Body Mass Index (BMI) measurement, workload questionnaire, and work fatigue questionnaire (SSRT). Data were analyzed using Fisher’s Exact Test. The results showed a significant relationship between nutritional status and work fatigue (p = 0.039), and between workload and work fatigue (p = 0.019). Respondents with abnormal nutritional status and heavy workload tended to experience a higher level of work fatigue. Nutritional status and workload are significantly associated with the level of work fatigue. It is expected that the company pays attention to employees’ workload and nutritional status to reduce the
risk of work fatigue.
