HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN MASYARAKAT DENGAN PENERAPAN PHBS DIWILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS WOTU TAHUN 2023

Abstract

The benefits of PHBS in the community environment are the creation of a clean and healthy community so that the community in general is protected from various disorders and threats of disease, improving and implementing a clean and comfortable life, especially in the Wotu health center working area. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is a relationship between the level of community knowledge and the implementation of PHBS in the Wotu Health Center working area. The design used in this research is an analytical survey using a cross sectional study approach. The research process was carried out in May 2023 using purposive sampling based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, the sample size was 30 respondents. The results showed that respondents had a level of knowledge of 19 (35.2%), with PHBS behavior of 20 (37.0%). The results of the Chisquare test with continuity correction obtained p= 0.008, which means p is smaller than the level of PHBS knowledge and PHBS behavior in the Wotu Health Center work area in 2023. The conclusion in this research is that there is a relationship between the level of community knowledge and the implementation of PHBS in the Wotu Health Center work area. It is hoped that every health worker, especially nurses, will further increase the provision of education to the public regarding PHBS knowledge and behavior.
