Literature Review : Efektivitas Penggunaan Rekam Medis Elektronik di Klinik Kesehatan
Abstract
In the current era of digitalization and information technology, the use of electronic medical records has become a growing trend in various healthcare systems. Electronic medical records enable the efficient and organized storage and management of patient medical information. Minister of Health Regulation No. 24 of 2022 concerning Medical Records mandates all healthcare facilities, including private healthcare practices, to utilize electronic medical records. Unfortunately, the adoption of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) in various healthcare facilities in Indonesia remains uneven. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of electronic medical record utilization in Health Clinics. This research is a literature review conducted by searching the Google Scholar and Science and Technology Index (SINTA) databases within the timeframe of 2017 to 2022. Based on the literature review findings, it can be concluded that several Health Service facilities have been able to effectively implement EMRs. However, there is still room for improvement and further development to enhance the effectiveness and utilization of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) in healthcare facilities that have not been effective in their utilization. It is hoped that the results of this study will encourage each healthcare facility to optimize the utilization of electronic medical records to improve ease of healthcare services.
